Ancient Vessel I by Flaming Fool

One of my newest passions is doing glass blowing in miniature. After many trials and errors in the learning process, am starting to get some nice pieces. (At least a third of my work has ended up flying across the room when I puff too hard on the hollow tubing!)

This handled vessel has a neck made of a bright yellow opaque glass. The body is a mixture of transparent greens and yellows. On the surface I have decorated it with stripes of some of my hand-made murrini type cane, which has dark blue and yellow stripes.

The vessel is just under 35 mm (1 3/8 inches) tall,
22.5 mm (7/8 in.) at the handles,
20 mm round (13/16) at the belly.

If you wish to use a cork as a stopper, the interior diameter of the opening is 6 mm (1/4 in.)
