Lampwork Glass Bead

DETAILS
This fun little bead is made with a base of emerald transparent glass on the ends, with a central band of bright yellow. It was then decorated with a metallic semi-transparent blue stringer, which shows blue over the green, and variegated over the yellow. This design is melted in flat to the surface of the bead, which was given its final shape using paddles.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 14 mm (9/16 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 28.5 mm (1 1/8 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 7 mm. (1/4 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
