Hollow Lampwork Glass Bead

DETAILS
This hollow bead was formed using transparent light green glass on the ends, with a central band of dark red transparent glass. After the hollow shape took form, the surface was decorated with an opaque lime green, with further additions of the red glass in spots. The red, when combined with the lime, has a smokey amber appearance. the final photograph shows it held up to bright light.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 18 mm (3/4 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 20.5 mm (13/16 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
