Lampwork Glass Bead

DETAILS
This is a flat focal bead, made with a base of transparent blue glass. this has been decorated with cells of white, with captured air bubbles encased in a smokey red transparent glass. Reminds me of pomegranate seeds! It was then flattened with paddles, shaped, and encircled in the middle with a band of transparent glass.

It is on a simple finding of soft silver art wire, which allows you to wear it immediately. this finding is easily removed.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 26 mm (1 1/16 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 33.5 mm (1 3/8 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 12 mm. (1/2 inch) --slightly thicker at the transparent band
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
