Spherule by Flaming Fool

DETAILS
The base of this bead is a transparent light blue glass, with a band of darker transparent cobalt blue at the equator. The surface has been decorate with a spiral and dots made of a mixture of green glasses, which have turned a brick red in many areas when I exposed the bead to an oxygen starved flame. The decoration has been melted flat into the surface of the glass.

Unfortunately, there was some creeping g of the glass at one of the hole ends during the formation, which did result in some bits of kaolin getting stuck on the glass around one hole. this would be covered up if you use bead end-caps.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 23 mm (7/8 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 21 mm (7/8 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
