DETAILS
This is a flat, round focal bead, formed with graphite paddles. It has a base of white and ivory glass, into which is melted accents of green and laqvender glass. It was then heavily encased in transparent glass, with some addition streaking of green and lavender. Some bits of silver-blue reduction frit were added to the surface and melted in flat before final shaping. This central band of frit has picked up wonderful shades of green and lavender from the encasing glass.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 27.5 mm ( 1 1/8 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 27 mm ( 1 1/8 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 9 mm. ( 3/8 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
