DETAILS
This is a flat, tabular focal bead, formed with graphite paddles. It has a core of a opaque lavender glass which is decorated with swirls of greens, turquoise, semi-transparent blues, and some silvered ivory stringer. It has been encased with a pale pink transparent glass, with some transparent light blue mixed in. Some bits of silver-blue reduction frit were added to the surface and melted in flat before final shaping.

Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 24.5 mm ( 1/2 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 7 mm. ( 5/16 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
