DETAILS
This flat focal bead has a core of hand mixed shades of light blue. Over this initial layere, blue-green frit was added for spots of color. An equitorial band of black was added, with holes along the band to show the blue beneath. It was then encased in transparent clear glass and shaped with graphite paddles.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 23.5 mm ( 1 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 27 mm ( 1 1/8 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 7 mm. ( 5/16 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
