Lampwork Glass Bead

DETAILS
This flat, tabular bead has a base of hand-mixed yellow, pale green and orange opaque glasses. I twaqs then lightly encased with a transparent pale yellow, with reduction frit added to produce a woderful veining effect around the equator of the bead. It was then shaped with graphite paddles.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 20 mm ( 13/16 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 18.5 mm ( 3/4 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 7 mm. ( 5/16 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
