Lampwork Glass Bead

DETAILS
This bead uses a dark teal transparent glass, which easily reduces to red when starved of oxygen. Into this teal are mixed various shades of ivory and green, which furthered the reduction effect. After shaping flat, raised dots were added, along with a raised stripe of the teal glass, binding the bead at a 45 degree angle.

Bead Width (side to side): c. 20 mm ( 13/16 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 30 mm ( 1 1/4 inch)
Bead Thickness at highet points: c. 14 mm. ( 1/2 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
